Saturday. D-Day. Today my new companion, Elder Shumard and I had tests that covered our studies for the week. The week as been fast. The teachers for our district, St. Quentin, are very good. They are Elders Hollingshead and Fairbanks. Elder Shumard is the district leader. Our distract is the smallest, having only three elders and one soeur (sister). Today we played a little football instead of watching U.C.L.A play Purdue (UCLA won of course). I was disappointed that N. Carolina lost twice in the quarter and semifinals to Purdue and Drake. We went to Heaps (pizza parlor in Provo) twice and to a movie at the Varsity Theater. Only a hundred and two more weeks until the end of my mission Can’t think of anything to say so I”ll quit. The end.
