and games in the park. Played baseball. The kid (me) catches everything that came into left field except two “homers.” B.P. put way over my head. Wasn’t so bad except when he did the same thing a second time and in the exact same spot. I was ticked. But then he dropped an easy fly I sent him so that’s even.
Did a lot of hard tracting this week. Met with the Lafayette family. New American move-ins for an oil company. Husband is not a member. They haven’t received furniture yet. Worked on Elders concert without success.
Back to no real progressing investigators. X’ed Atkins. Tried to commit them to read. Wouldn’t. We did get the peanut butter and root beer all right though, huh. We stopped by Oehmké and West’s place this evening and found out that Nicole Oehmké was sick. A little homesickness and flu or something. Not appendicitis because she’s had them out. She asked for a blessing so I blessed oil and anointed while Elder Norby sealed the blessing with Elder Chase and I assisting. Bowman stayed in the other room.
Received a letter from mom on getting back home. Almost lost Dipsy (Robert’s dog). We saw “West Side Story” too last weekend. Sent off BJB’s ( Barry Kirk) package. $5 Wow! Got BYU info this week. LuAnn hasn’t written in about 3 weeks. Looks like the old “Kisser Offerer”. What a ticker!! Susi’s still hanging in Okay but…I am definitely attached to that kid. But I don’ t know…
