to cover the whole earth. As Moroni wrote, “Car, les design éternelle de Seigneur pour suivrons heurs course jusq’au toute se promissee se spent accomplies. (The eternal designs of the Lord will continue to the end til all His works are accomplished).
The work will continue. There will be baptisms. People will listen to the Lord’s ambassadors. They will repent. The chapelle will be completed. the branch here will grow. I will learn to speak better French. The sun will shine again.
I do have a testimony that Jesus is the Christ. His church as been reestablished by the holy prophets. The saving ordinances exist still among men. Prophets and apostles do receive revelation in our time. Angels do minister to the children of men. And to quote from a once popular song:
“Venez, Venez, sans craindre le devoir, Travailler au progrès! Si le chemin à vos yeux paraît noir, Le secours est tout près. Mieux vaut lutter et bon coeur, pour acquérir le vrai bonheur. Venez, Joyeux, ne craignez rien. Tout est bien, Tout est bien. Pourquoi gémir, déplorer votre sort? Tout est bien, tout est bien, Peut-on gagner la palme sans effort, en quittant le chemin?…” (Come, Come Ye Saints)
