That man has so much faith it amazes me. I was real happy to see S. Saver and S. Irna (an investigator to whom E. DeCoursey and Jenkins taught 3 lessons then lost contact with—hard to teach because she’s German) at Sacrament Meeting. Famille Lycops fell through, though. Too bad. Will have to follow up. also S. Hans absent.

Well, much has happened and I haven’t had time to write. We had a little problem in the district with Elder Smith—the D.L. slacking off—which is hard not to do after 2.5 years of work. The street meeting we had scheduled for last Monday fell through because we were on hour late getting over there and partly because he didn’t want to work. But the mission assistants talked with him Tuesday morning following, chastised him a little. I didn’t think he’d change from what he said Wednesday but this last Sunday he’d been working, was happy, had a good attitude and had changed. I am very happy and glad that he has repented and started to hit it again. We were so busy. Not trying to criticize him that we over looked his good points. We had a great fast and testimony meeting yesterday— then a district study class in which we just discussed
