the gospel and problems in the district and how to teach and convert our investigators more effectively.
E. Smith mentioned how it was so much easier to repent and change another because the missionaries never persecuted you. So what if you goofed off 3 months in Charleroi. Look what kind of work he’s doing now. We also discussed the importance of gaining knowledge. E. Smith has a great knowledge of Priesthood government. We’ve got to get Frère Colen and S. Saver working and searching on their own to give them a testimony and get them ready for baptism. The problem partly has been that we’ve been spoon feeding both of them and they haven’t been baptized yet. It’s been 7 weeks for both of them. And Frère Colen has had only one discussion—when he came to our apartment for it. We talked to his wife but she is still atheist and won’t even let us come and teach him when she’s not at the house. Along with Marcel we’ve been teaching her mother and a friend, Christine—German parents—very attractive—both real fine people. We were fasting for S. Saver and F. Colen to come to church and were we so thankful when they arrived for fast and testimony meeting. Our zone is going to St. Lambert (Val Saint Lambert) Crystalines (St. Lambert’s Crystal factory) today. We are going over to lunch at Es Smith and Curtis.
