Well, well, well. I’ve got a new companion. Elder Norman See from Hermiston, Oregon. He’s in my same stake back home. I’ve not going to pass judgment on him right now But I’ll just say now for comparison when we separate that he’s proud. But he’s got a lot to offer different from Elder DeCoursey. He’s big on psychology but he really uses it well in bringing people to face the facts to admit to themselves problems on things that they were afraid of previously We had a 4 hour shake down with S. Sourer yesterday and found out that she doesn’t believe in a real, physical God—can’t really pray in front of us—but she was sincere and on the verge of tears when we left, committed to read 150 pages and pray. She was at S.A.M. tonight.
We also taught Frère Colen a 2nd after 7 weeks as an investigator. We’ve got him set for a baptism the 2 of August. He’ll be ready by then. We were coming back home the night before from meeting and getting E. See introduced with the Lycops family. S. Lycops said a kneeling prayer but Frère was a little rude and busy and had a something. On the way home we ran into Christine, S. Sauveur’s friend and talked to her about religion for an hour or more under the Pont de Tout Voies.
