President’s 10 Most Wanted Men (Black List)
Wow, was I ever in the pits that week. First the fact that a team was taken out and we’d be just two Elders here. Then to find out that because of a blunder on my part due to a lack of communication there wouldn’t be a replacement sent in. The President wasn’t happy. I wasn’t happy. But here two weeks after all things are okay. I’m actually enjoying working with just one team in the city. You get a lot more missionary work done. A lot more personal study time in (of course getting up at 6:00am and studying does help in that direction too). Today we had a very good (week rather) day of contacting. Set up 5 first lessons. It’ll have to be a first record for me. These first three days have been very good proselyting.
The President said Christmas was a fine time to contact people and he is right. The Branch put on a real nice Christmas party for the kids last Saturday night. Sunday they had the fine talks in both meetings. I’m supposed to give a talk and lesson this Sunday, too. Receiving a lot of mail during the christmas season $15.00 check from the ward. Parents and LuAnn haven’t written in over two weeks. What do you expect.
