My folks finally wrote. That’s to say that the one of their letters finally made it through to me. Apparently a $100.00 check and letter are missing in the Postal System. So that was good to hear from them. Also some news from Elder Packer from the mission home with travel plans. Two days in London. One day in Paris and ending up in LosAngeles after 3 days travel. He also has something about $400 travel fee or something. Well, I’m not content with those plans. I sent a note off to Weibell. Perhaps he has changed his travel plans because he wanted to go through Madrid and Lisbon. On vera, quoi. (interjection)
As the end of this mission comes quickly, I reflect on how blessed I’ve been to be out here for two years testifying and teaching the gospel. It has been hard, real hard. The hardest two years—also the best spent. But the Lord has really blessed me! I hope I may continue to progress in His service.
