From the rumors from the ZAPs (Zone leaders) I’ll probably get transferred this next week. Elder See’s sweating it, trying not to go D.L. (District Leader) In Seraing.
Elder Smith is just blowing his cool, if I could use that expression. It has to do with a little principle called “enduring to the end”. I took my ripped up blue suit coat in to get it fixed finally. $5 for a new arm. It’s turned cold again. I put the liner back in my coat. A wine-maker member out in Tilleair called Marchal screwed us up again with Frère Colen. We got Colen settled down again to a baptismal day but he’s got cold feet again. Hope to baptize Marcelle Sauveur the 6th of September; Frère Colen, André Nouvelli, the Coppola clan following quickly after.
Parents struck out this week on letters—got one from Barbara Dahle and one from LuAnn. She wrote me fine things about morality, love, marriage—loving God—renewed my faith in her and people in general. It’s after 10:30, so lights out. Elder See is starting to play his guitar again. You know what that means.

I’m very happy today. We had a fabulous Sacrament meeting tonight. André came, S. Coppola, Savana her daughter, and Joseph her son, S. Martino and Mother Polneta came in a little late. Mais ça va (That’s the way it goes). Frère Colen was there too. The Sacrament song was a little rough because Perlot the mother didn’t know the song; therefore, did not lead nor sing/just stood there and waved her hand But the last two were hard and fast.
