We put on a Spook Alley for the Relief Society’s Bazaar. I don’t know who took the brunt of that joke—us or the Branch. The kids about destroyed everything before we could get it set up but it went well when we were finished. I had flour and grease paint for makeup We had tacos, beans and hot sauce as a going away present for Headlee. I was so sick that weekend. Must have put on too much hot sauce. By the way, I’ve got a GREENIE. He was a little hard to adjust to the first week but is coming along. Elder Eric Straumer Clyde from Logan, his mom is German—there are 8 kids in his family, he speaks very well for a new elder. His accent is better than mine. We tried to play a greenie trick on him Friday when he came in We took him over to Marguiese (this family likes to play tricks on the new elders) to give a Word of Wisdom commitment but I blew it and told him what we were doing in advance because I didn’t think it was a kind thing to do. What a dumb move!!! Sister Marguiese is knitting me a sweater free of charge which is very gracious of her. I spent about $12 on the wall yarn. Only 154 or so days left. I’m starting to get that moving feeling. We have been having good success here lately and I can only thank the Lord and doing best to baptize the families. Bye.
