WOW!! How can i write all that has happened this week? Impossible! Right now I’m resting my sore foot in my first apartment after arriving in my first assignment—Seraing. We eleven left S.L.C. Airport at 10:30, flew to Denver & New York, then Bruxelles. Mom and Dad surprised me by coming to see me off in their new Lincoln. I Missed Susi—Dommage!
Arrived in Burssels—had tremendous day with Pres. Paramore. Thursday we toured Brussels and went to Waterloo—At night we stayed at the Youth Hostel in Bruxelles, a real flop house. Friday we had orientation and proselyting door to door, contacting and a rip roaring street meeting. What a gas. Friday night we had a farewell at President Paramore’s home, sans the President. Everyone received their first assignments. Saturday morning we left for Namur—me and Poncho—changed trains—Panco missed his stop—I got here and struggled to find the place. 1st discussion. Bye
