We went up to Brussels last Monday for Missionary Conference. I was in a bad mood, depressed at the bad way I’d blown things. The conference was on companion relations. Just made to order for me. The interview with the president was a great help. He sat me down and asked what the problem was between us. I cried a little. President Brown is really a great man. I can’t believe it — sure would like to be in his shoes in another 20 years. Good testimony meeting followed. Seems the Brussels Zone was all in a slump. I saw Elder Jackson. He’s the coolest. Elder Jones and I straightened out a few problems with finances in Amiens. There are 7 sisters in Brussels. Wow. Some good looking ones, too! Our relations are top notch now. All we needed was for me to humble up a little and repent of my bad ways I asked Jackie Faulston to forgive me and we worked things right out. Now that everything is fine we’re getting new comps—Jackie is going to Charleroi with Elder Hurdman and I’m getting a Rodney Pearson. We’re seeing the mayor on Saturday. Got to contact the Zaps for a companion for the day—That’s ALL
