Salut Les Copains!!! Here we are in Dunkerque, France. The transfer cost $16.00. The ZAPS didn’t come down to get me. The assistants did. So the train didn’t leave until 9:40 at night so I sat around the mission home all day. Picked up Elder Elton at train station and went taking call backs and got in, too. Chase went up to Rue des Arches Apartment. He’s left here by now though. The mission is in a big adjustment period. All kinds of screwy transfers and greenies coming in. I moved on Monday. Hatfield moved on Saturday to Strasbourg via Paris after one day’s notice. Nelson went co-comps with Massey. I really like Headlee. He’s a real super missionary. Really knows what he’s out there for and is going after it. But I’ll bet a dollar to a doughnut that he gets moved this week because he was here 3-1/2 months already and of all the transfers in the air. Waterloo is down to a two-man city now. Poor Elder Curtis and Booth. Bowman and Anderson are home now. Got a letter the first day I was here from BJB (Elder Barry Kirk). A 10 pager, The kid’s going wild!! something about a midwest tour next August would be nice. I got into Dunkerque at 1:30am Monday, rather Tuesday morning. Taxi was $2.10 but I couldn’t raise anybody out of bed with the door bell so I was forced to spend the night in the Hirondell
