Today the Pagano family came to church. That is to say the parents came.  The 3 kids didn’t. We taught them a 3rd lesson a week ago and he’s been making good progress on the Word of Wisdom although he is not yet stopped. We showed the slide tape “Qu’est-ce u’un Mormon?”  (What is a Mormon) to them last night and then pedaled against the wind to teach the Paulain family a 2nd lesson. We taught them a 1st Monday night after tracting them out in the morning. They live just around the corner from us.  Vandersype, the 31 year old bachelor whom we had a baptismal date with, we haven’t seen him since he got sick after the 1st lesson so we’ve kind of dropped him from the list. Déthoors are still hanging on but they’re not reading nor coming to church. Gaouyer is still on the investigators list but they’re a little feisty and don’t come to church. Dupré—we had a good 2nd lesson with her but she had an attack of her illness right at the end of the lesson. Not too bad but Br. Duper took her to see the doctor while we tended Samuel (Chystrolle was already in bed). We watched a show on Paul’s missionary journeys and a few French short movies which were excellent education on the French culture of today.  Then Samuel wet his pants while sitting on me. Oh well.
