Gail is still strong in the gospel. LuAnn flunked the test on two tries.
\Yes, I made it home. Flew to New York in 7 hours. Decided not to stay over nite in N.Y. so I hopped a flight to Portland then to SEATAC.
I only had 20 minutes to make a Seattle direct connection thus I didn’t have sufficient time. So I took the Portland flight. Called Dick’s place collect. Mom, Dad and Julie came an hour later.
It was good to see them. Homecoming was really “unreal”. Every thing was old yet “new” .
I went down to Barbara’s for a day in Mossy Rock. Sunned my body on the lake—fine weather—then home. Gave a 2 minute homecoming speech—everyone wanted to skin me. Too bad. Then I went down to the Y with some friends of Cadwell’s.
Stayed over night with the Heywoods, Had a nice visit, nice accommodations too!
I wasn’t going to visit Susi but I did and now I’m ready to marry her if I can get up enough P.M. (postive mental) steam to do it.
Thus ends the mission journal of :
