This morning Dunkerque baptized an eight-year-old member family girl. Better than nothing. BP Marie was in charge of the baptism but he didn’t show up until he was 35 minutes late. So I started the meeting at 7:30, already a half hour late. Elder Nelson baptized the little Rapeso girl, Julliette. Then it was Sunday School after quick rain showers and priesthood. We had a fine Fast and Testimony meeting too. Michelle Dart and Mirielle both gave their testimonies. Such a shame they are not baptized because of their parents. We had a M.I.A. party last night. The Branch at Lille came up to celebrate. they were quite late so we did all the sketches twice. Then there was a play of Molières given by the branch. We taught Sister Dupré the 5th lesson. It was rough. All new stuff for her. She hasn’t a whole lot of faith but then in remembering what Pres. Brown said about it is the missionaries’ faith and testimony of the Gospel which baptizes people, well I’m a’gonna give her a good whirl. Looks like Christmas in Dunkerque with Nelson, Massey and the Camel Clyde (Roger Miller song). What it looks like is the rest of my mission here. eh.no.
