’ve a few minutes so I’ll catch up on what happened over Christmas. Christmas Eve we went out to Grande-Synthe (it finally froze the night before Christmas Eve and we froze too!) We had made popcorn balls for all the members the week before and we took them around to Michelle Laywick and her family. Met the dad and younger sisters. Then we went over to Duprés and the wife finally just got out of the hospital at Lille an hour before. We met some of their friends. Visited a few minutes then left with prayer. It was onto the Ropes family. Claire was ill and in a dumpy mood but we ate all the food and candy etc for an hour or so. Clyde had his super movie camera and light. We took pictures of all the families. Then we came home and hung out stockings with care on the mantle.
We woke up about 8:30, unwrapped our presents. Gail sent me a poem book. Nelson favored me with a calendar. Then we dilly dallied around a few minutes. We visited Mirelle Dart and her mom for 1/2 hour, also the Lyoens. At twelve it was dinner at Sister Vanhoeke’s. It was good. We watched “Treasure Island”. Saw Rose-Marie, Mathieu and parents, then it was Annicks and the Legiers (saw Sister Comyn and hubby and kids) then we saw Marquise, Gisele was gone. But the older daughter and hubby were there. What a drip that guy is!!
